TikTok has also integrated with Ticketmaster in the Netherlands and Belgium

TikTok users in the US have been able to purchase concert tickets without leaving the app since August last year. TikTok has now implemented integration with Ticketmaster in 20 more countries, including the Netherlands and Belgium.

The collaboration between Ticketmaster and TikTok should create a deeper connection with artists. Users in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Czech Republic, Mexico, Finland, Italy, Australia, Canada, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom can now purchase concert tickets directly in the app for purchase.

In a pilot test, successful campaigns were said to have been launched with Niall Horan, Burna Boy and Shania Twain. According to TikTok, more than 2.5 billion videos have been viewed using its concert features.

TikTok has been working with other partners for years to increase the social media app’s appeal. There are already collaborations with Snapchat, Spotify, and YouTube. The upcoming double issue of Entertainment Business and EB Live features an extensive interview with Thomas Cerha, Head of Music Operations in France and Benelux at TikTok.
