Transition Holdings Bhd. The company announced the appointment of Mr. Rajagopal A/L Ramadas as an independent, non-executive director. The change date is September 1, 2023.
Age: 60 years old. Mr. Rajagopal A/L Ramadhas (“Mr. Rajagopal”) joined the Royal Malaysian Police in 1982 as a Police Inspector. He progressed through various ranks in the Royal Malaysian Police up to the rank of Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC).
He has retired from the Royal Malaysian Police and Government with effect from 23rd April 2023 after reaching the mandatory retirement age of 60 years. In his 41 years of service in the Royal Malaysian Police, Mr. Rajagopal has spent nearly 30 years in the investigative field. He worked in the Commercial Crimes Investigation Department for about 16 years, from 2006 to 2020, in various positions/departments.
In addition, he has also worked in various other departments of the Royal Malaysian Police, such as the Department of Homeland Security, Public Order and Administration Department. In 2020, Mr. Rajagopal has been appointed Head of International Relations at the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Secretariat, Royal Malaysian Police. In 2021, he was reassigned to the Commercial Crime Investigation Division as Senior Associate Director of the Financial and Corporate Investigations Division.
As Principal Assistant to the Director of the Corporate and Financial Affairs Investigation Department, he has been assigned to oversee the investigation of commercial crime cases involving companies, banks, financial institutions, financial affairs, associations, cooperatives and insurance companies across Malaysian goods. He has also been sent abroad several times to countries such as UK, USA, Switzerland, Singapore and Thailand for investigation/evidence collection and discussions with law enforcement authorities of the mentioned countries.
