Become a Health and Science Volunteer
At Health and Science, we are always looking for people who want to help improve our site. We are currently specifically looking for volunteers. Limburg and West Flanders. You don’t need any medical, scientific or linguistic knowledge. Anyone can contribute!
Why become a health and science volunteer?
- You contribute to the dissemination of clear and reliable information about health.
- You meet new people and gain experience.
- You can use your experience, opinion and expertise.
What will your business look like?
- Several times a year we send you some guidelines (texts about a specific case). Read them critically:
- Is the guideline easy for everyone to understand?
- Is the guide complete?
- Is the guideline practically useful?
- Together with other volunteers from your district, you can discuss the guidelines and complete the survey. With a drink and a nice chat in between.
- Based on your feedback, our editors will continue to work according to the guidelines.
- We invite you to Leuven twice a year to provide feedback and exchange experiences.
What should you be able to do?
- You are willing to meet in person several times a year in your province and (if possible) in Leuven.
- You can browse the Internet and you can work with Word.
- This is an advantage if you are familiar with our website and if you support the principle of basing health information on scientific evidence (evidence-based medicine).
