Microsoft has addressed the update issue in Windows 11. The issue arose with client platforms that are used to connect different business users as an endpoint for rapid deployment of functions and applications.
After the June 2024 Preview Update (KB5039302) was pushed, some Windows 11 systems experienced update issues. Updates were not possible when using scripts to automate Windows Update. Business users with client platforms running Windows 11 23H2 or Windows 11 22H2 experienced these issues.
Install the solution manually
The solution is to use Known Issue Rollback (KIR). This feature was introduced in 2021 and is a way for Microsoft users to address non-security bugs more quickly. Microsoft recently stepped in further with the Windows 11 update by pulling the update completely. This update caused issues that affected the functionality of the operating system. The system may end up in a loop where Windows keeps rebooting. Additionally, the taskbar has disappeared for some users.
