10 Circles still needs Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

The downloadable content for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is spread over six waves of eight lanes each. They will be added one by one until the end of 2023. The courses that Nintendo has already added at the time of writing are Paris Promenade, Toad Circuit, Choco Mountain, Coconut Mall, Tokyo Blur, Shroom Ridge, Sky Garden, Ninja Hideaway, New York Minute and Mario Circuit 3, Kalimari Desert, Waluigi Pinball, Sydney Sprint, Snow Land, Mushroom Gorge and Sky-High Sundae. So there are still 32 circuits to follow, and hopefully the 10 paths are included below.

As a wise polyurethane man once shouted across the room during E3: “Viva Hollandia!” Of course, the circuit in our capital should not be missing in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The Amsterdam Drift was added to the Mario Kart Tour last April and contains a lot of typical Dutch elements. You tear up canal houses, windmills, and lawns. This might be a bit stereotyping and going from the center of Amsterdam to a meadow is of course pointless, but that shouldn’t spoil the fun. If this function was added, our Dutch heart would make a small leap.

Every game gets better from a few big stamps and that’s exactly what Dino Dino Jungle has to offer. First you race across huge legs and, with a bit of bad luck, get into a pulp, then you go over your head and discover that this doll is secretly cute. Don’t let yourself get too distracted, because before you know it, you’ll be tossed through the air by a geyser or two. Did I mention there were dinosaurs stampede?

We already have Wario Stadium in Mario Kart, however it would be nice to be able to perform more stunts at Waluigi Stadium. Who wouldn’t feel the thrill of a few jumps through a ring of fireballs, or dodging flames and woody piranhas at the same time? Real bon vivants also pick up some tricks from the side of the track. Nintendo can still give Waluigi a path after they don’t make him a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Eventually it has stopped.

Moles, jets of fire and flying ships: The Airship Fortress has everything that can make a great Mario Kart tournament. One minute you are shot with huge cannons and the next day you are flying through the air to a big tower. Inside this tower, you roll downhill and this is one of the most satisfying parts of the Mario Kart track for drift lovers. With the new purple booster, this part will undoubtedly be more fun.

Lakeside Park was part of the Mario Kart: Super Circuit Cup on Game Boy Advance. At first glance, it looks like a fairly normal trek through a park without a lot of fuss. However, in the background there is an active volcano spewing fire. As a result, your sweat can completely fall into the water in no time. There are also certain parts where you have to make a big jump. If you jump wrong at the right time, you will end up in an earlier part of the path and your progress will disappear like snow in the sun. This mess is perfect for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!

We all know Wuhu Island from the Wii Sports Resort. Besides being a great location for Frisbee, wakeboarding, and bowling, the island also turns out to be a great Mario Kart playground. The Wuhu Loop and Maka Wuhu were the first single-course training sessions in Nintendo’s kart racer history. Both courses offer a great ride around a tropical island, with plenty of nostalgic Wii Sports Resort elements. In Wuhu Loop you can drive in the sunshine and in Maka Wuhu you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Music is again the highlight here.

Where Rainbow Road often breaks out with the most brilliance, Bowser Castle is usually the best track in the Special Trophy. At least that was the case on the Nintendo DS. Our favorite enemy castle has a lot of fun obstacles. Fire beams, a kind of rotating propeller on which you have to drive without falling and moving platforms require maximum concentration. This focus can sometimes be disturbed during a race with twelve men, quickly leading to pure chaos.

Koopa Troopa is perhaps one of the most popular supporting roles seen in Mario games, but in Mario Kart it’s often a bit weak. His levels on the beach in previous installments were okay, but they are never forgotten. Mario Kart Wii finally brought justice and rewarded Cuba Tropa with a truly creative spin. You are sailing through the water, through a giant tube with electric jets and huge waterfalls. If possible, this music can also be played on repeat throughout the day.

Eternal Autumn hit Maple Treeway. Leaves fly in the air as you fly from tree to tree by yourself. There are many huge Wigglers in the middle section which you have to avoid and on your way to jump on different trampolines. That sounds interesting enough, but the Maple Treeway is also full of interesting intersections that separate men and women from boys and girls. And we haven’t even talked about music yet. to have fun!

Mario Kart 7 is one of the sometimes forgotten Mario Kart games. That’s a shame, because the game has the best rainbow road ever. In other games, you just tear up the rainbow path. The Nintendo 3DS Edition makes a big space-like scoop on top of that. For example, you race around the rings of Saturn and dodge the chomps chain rolling on the moon. The track doesn’t consist of three, but one big lap can’t last long enough. On top of that, this track is already in Mario Kart Tour, so it doesn’t make sense that we’d get this as DLC.

What functionality do you hope to see in the next waves of DLC? Let me know in the comments!
