Destiny 2 offers seasonal challenges, and the Crimson Days event will not return

Bungie is currently preparing for the thirteenth season of Destiny 2, which should start in early February. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait long for the first images, because the developer has it in one image New blog post He indicated that a trailer for the upcoming season will be shared on February 2. In the same message, Bungie also revealed a new feature: Seasonal Challenges.

Seasonal challenges will replace the weekly rewards and in the blog post, Bungie has already provided an explanation of how this new system works. For the first ten weeks of each season, new challenges will be available every week. You can complete challenges throughout the season, not necessarily the week that they appear. No new challenges will appear after Week 10, so you still have time to complete any open challenges before the season ends. You can complete Seasonal Challenges one time per account.

You can find all the Seasonal Challenges on their respective page which you can find via the quest log or the Season Pass. By completing Seasonal Challenges, you’ll gain experience points, which will help you advance your Season Pass arrangement. Other Challenge rewards include Bright Dust, Seasonal Coins, and “Other Interesting Items”.

In the blog post, Bungie also announced that the Crimson Days event will not be returning. In recent years, this in-game event has been staged to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but that won’t be the case this year. Bungie explains that Crimson Days has been well received, but the quality has not been good enough in recent years, so it was decided to stop the event.
