Taliban launches manhunt for Afghan NATO employees

• Starting Friday, Belgium will carry out the first evacuations. The intention is to evacuate at least 470 people through Kabul airport, including about a hundred Belgians and their (Afghan) families.

• Not 16, but 7 Belgians were evacuated from Afghanistan on a Dutch transport plane. One Belgian was rescued via a French flight.

• Increasing local resistance to the Taliban. Resistance leaders are gathering in North Bansjir, the only province the movement has not yet controlled.
