Sony started rolling out Android 12 for Sony devices Xperia 1 III and the Xperia 5 III. Google introduced Android 12 in October 2021 and three months later, users of Sony’s flagship smartphones can start using the latest Android features.
Android 12 update for the third generation of Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 has been given version 61.1.A.1.149 and brings the December 2021 security patch as well as innovations in Android. On the Sony siteAs the manufacturer announced the Android 12 update, it says the following.
You will love the new Android 12 features and improvements! With Android 12, you can now take screenshots while scrolling. Operate your Xperia device with just one hand in the newly revamped one-handed mode. Use the screen dimming function to make it easier for your eyes in the dark environment. Use Nearby Sharing to easily share Wi-Fi.
