While we were grateful for Teams’ new background feature during the pandemic, we now stand behind it WhatsApp. The well-known communication platform adds a new feature that allows users to change their background during video calls. WhatsApp adds ten different wallpapers and ten filters to make your video call more attractive. The effects will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.

WhatsApp is adding a new feature that lets you make video calls yourself. You’ll soon be able to add backgrounds and effects during your video call. This means you never have to worry about a messy or unprofessional background again.
There are ten backgrounds to choose from: fog, living room, office, stone, foodie, mix, beach, sunset, party, and forest. Moreover, you can also apply filters, which are: warm, cool, black and white, light leaks, dreamy, prism light, fisheye, vintage TV, frosted glass and duotone.
To boost your confidence, WhatsApp is also adding retouching and low light options. The feature will be released to everyone in the coming weeks.
