A look inside a cheerful two-story, Scandinavian-style house

On the outside, this’ 80s home might not be the first choice. Selfie (Embed a Tweet): “When we went to have a look, we fell in love. We fell in love with the character with a separate level and high ceiling with beams. It instantly gave us the feeling of a vacation, a vacation home.”

Scandinavian style

The interior style of the spouses can be described as Scandinavian. “I love white and light natural shades. We added a bit of black to it, for a solid finish.”

White living room

Everything was dark, but by making the high walls and white beams, you get a very quiet foundation. “We also chose Roman blinds in natural shades. They let in very little light, but not allow passersby to see us.”

Cozy fireplace

To enjoy the crackling fire from the living room and dining area, we chose the double burner. In addition, the fireplace is very striking in the home, due to its size and its black and white appearance.

Quiet dining area

The duo chose a large table 2.60 meters high. A place where they can eat for hours with the whole family. “It’s a heavy solid oak table, but to make it a bit softer, we’ve opted for the bouquet chairs. Plus, we’ve added some curves to cut through all the right angles.” And the lamp? Selfie and Rob especially flew them from Bali.

“By maintaining a quiet base, we tried to create a whole one of three floors. A very beautiful house!”
