Xbox Game Pass is about to add a ton of new titles. Everything comes here in September.
Microsoft’s monthly subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, is fast becoming a requirement for every Xbox owner — or anyone with a gaming PC. The service adds a selection of games to subscribers’ libraries on console, PC, and even mobile using Microsoft Cloud Gaming.
With mega releases like Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 still waiting to be released and up and running, here’s what’s going to happen in the near future – specifically in September.
Xbox Game Pass September Additions
The September premiere will be the first day of release for Aragami 2, a stealth action title, and Sable, a new open world title with a stylish new art style.
- Surgeon Simulator 2: Access to all regions – September 2
- Aragami 2 – September 17
- sablemarter – 23 September
- Yemen port – 28 September
Expect more games to be added to the lineup in the coming days, mostly via Twitter account on Xbox Game Pass.
Games that left Xbox Game Pass in September
Microsoft rotates games in and out of its library, so expect some games to be removed. You’ll get at least a few days’ notice so you can finish the game before you leave, or buy it at a discount before it ends.
Although Microsoft hasn’t revealed which games are leaving next month, we know Forza Motorsport 7 will be removed from the Xbox Storefront. This is due to the game’s expired licensing deals. On the plus side, you can still play Forza Horizon 4.
Xbox Game Pass announcement date for September
Game Pass titles don’t have a specific reveal date, and Microsoft usually teases them at regular intervals. Expect some mentions of the lineup during the September opening days, and more revelations via Twitter posts (and sometimes memes) in the coming weeks. We will update this page when we hear more.
