The Nintendo Switch edition was developed in collaboration with Panic Button and includes all the features of the version currently available for Xbox, PlayStation and PC. Players can even compete against the owners of these systems, thanks to cross-play support. To compensate for the slightly different hardware controls, dimensions, and technical limitations, the Switch version of Apex Legends will include some unique improvements to bring it in line with the other versions of the game.

Season 8 of Apex Legends started this week and the Switch will be out mid-season. Switch users will get 30 levels of current Battle Pass upgrades for free due to the late start. All content for the new season will also be available immediately. Additionally, Switch owners will receive double experience points for the first two weeks after launch. The game is playable for free, just like on other systems.
