Asus will soon come with a mini desktop computer, the revamped ExpertCenter. The system can be equipped with a 12th generation Intel Core processor or an AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor. Both models have improved cooling, support four 4K displays or one 8k display, and include intelligent fan control.
ExpertCenter PN64
USB power delivery is also supported, so that power and video signals can be sent via a single USB Type-c cable. Memory consists of two DDR5-4800 Sodimm units, space for a SATA600 drive, and an M.2 2280 PCI Express 4.0 x4 SSD. There’s also 2.5G, Bluetooth 5.2, and two HDMI ports. The exterior is equipped with five USB ports, including USB 3.2 Gen 2 type-c with DisplayPort 1.4 support.
ExpertCenter PN52
There will also be a variant with an AMD Ryzen 5000H series processor. The system includes space for two PCI Express 3.0 x4 m.2 2280 SSDs and a connection for one SATA600 drive. The PN52 has two HDMI ports and a total of seven USB ports, one of which is also from USB 3.2 Gen 2 type-c, with Displayport 1.4 support. The manufacturer reports that PN52 performs up to 27 percent better on single-threaded workloads than PN51 does and up to 19 percent better on multi-threaded workloads.
