Artist Banksy has hung a new artwork in the lobby of the University of Southampton Hospital in southern England.
In the new artwork, we see a boy who replaced Spiderman and Batman dolls with a Nurse doll, the new superheroes of these times. Banksy shared this on his Instagram page.
“Very proud to unveil this wonderful piece of” Painting of the Saints, “designed by Banksy to thank everyone who works for and for the NHS and our hospital. An inspiring background to stop and reflect on these unseen times, Paula Head, CEO of the hospital, wrote on Twitter.
The United Kingdom has been hit hard by the Coronavirus. The country counted 30,000 people who died from the virus on Wednesday. In the fall, artwork will be auctioned to aid the British healthcare system.
The artwork was also well received on Twitter
Banksy produces a new photo for auction for the NHS charities. The guy may not be the most technically talented artist but his concepts and message are always 100% there.
