‘Black Panther’ star Letitia Wright out of the MCU? or not?


There are all kinds of rumors about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and especially about the role of actress Letitia Wright. Earlier this month, the story suddenly surfaced that Wright was leaving the film, but that order is now dismissed.

When actor Chadwick Boseman passed away in August 2020, many wondered how Black Panther would continue in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Around that time, we heard that Wright was the lead candidate to take over.

Wright was injured during filming and left for the UK to recuperate at home. Her temporary departure and videos she later made about coronavirus vaccines led to rumors that Wright might be fired from the MCU.

However, we are now hearing from sources from The Hollywood Reporter Panther 2 will resume production in Atlanta at the end of January. The magazine’s sources also stated that Wright will be returning as Shuri and therefore will not disappear from the MCU.
