The British director has achieved fame through her vivid studies of upper-middle-class relationships and her insightful reflections on artistic life. She will be in Brussels from September 22 to 24, among other things, to preview her latest film Eternal daughter For attendees, followed by an extensive discussion.

After studying cinema in London, where she graduated in 1986 with a short film fancy (starring a young Tilda Swinton), has worked in television for nearly 20 years, directing a variety of series episodes. In the early 2000s, she decided to return to cinema, and in 2007 her debut came Not connected Outside. A film in which her unique style was truly crystallized. Since then, she has made five further feature films that have established her as a unique voice in British cinema over the past two decades.
