Few artists in the electronic genre have managed to leave their mark on the cultural zeitgeist as hard as Fred once again in recent years… Midas touch He knows how to turn everything he touches into gold. From over twelve million monthly listeners on Spotify to sold-out arenas and most recently The Barn at Rock Werchter which has been literally rocking on its packed foundations: Fred is once again… an artist floating on a tsunami of success. The Brit has long outgrown the hype and has managed to portray itself as a phenomenon that has left the defining tracks of its genre far behind in terms of popularity.

In any case, this fame is clearly not going to end for the time being. A hopelessly sold out tour will follow this fall that will also bring Fred again.. to Paleis 12, and in the meantime he will continue to treat us to new music. “I Adore You,” a collaboration with Nigerian Obongjayar, is an ode to his sister and once again has all the ingredients to get the dancefloor moving. The song starts out beautifully and softly, with a perky beat as the African singer’s vocals quickly find their way into a catchy beat that continues to grow. At about the minute, the song opens up more and a fun sample mixes with a light vibe. It seems that breaking the song, where the sample can take the upper hand a little, is already a guarantee of success during the upcoming performances of Fred again .. this fall.
