Writer and poet Jost Omen, 31, published a travel report this year: fish† Summer vacation is not possible, because in the summer months Oomen plays no less than two performances at the Theater Festival De Parade.
You will be at De Parade with two shows. What is more fun?
“It’s like choosing between children, of course I don’t have an answer to that. The two shows are also different: one with a band and special poems. It’s a very loud performance with very loud music, because poetry accompanied by quiet music is terrible for me. Moreover, there is a lot of sharing Audience: The audience has to throw lemons and bask in watermelon and banana juice. The other show is a collaboration with De Poezieboys and talks about the forgotten Icelandic poet Jörgi Eisfogl.”
