Live Blog – Poland introduces fighter jets, Ukrainian President addresses British Parliament

The Russian Defense Ministry announced a new cease-fire in Ukraine tomorrow at eight in the morning Belgian time. In addition, Moscow stated that humanitarian corridors will be established in Kyiv, Mariupol, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkov.

In this proposal from Moscow, the Ukrainians will have until 1 pm to coordinate the humanitarian corridors. Moscow proposes to evacuate civilians from the mentioned cities to Russia or other cities in Ukraine. Moscow has previously made such a proposal, but Kyiv does not want to accept the proposal to transfer citizens to Russia.

According to Moscow, this proposal was handed over to Kyiv. They should confirm one hour in advance (Belgian time) where these lanes are, and from what time they will operate. So far, no response to this proposal has been received from Kyiv.

Several ceasefires have been announced in recent days to allow civilians to reach safety, but most have failed.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Chief of Staff said that two convoys of 61 buses were able to leave Sumy today. Among the passengers were more than 1,100 foreign students.
