Rumor: Grand Theft Auto 3 Remaster 3D will be released in 2022

Last week, there were rumors of a possible remake of the PlayStation 2 games Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Posted by Kotaku reportage It claims that these switches work in Rockstar Dundee for all modern platforms, including Switch and mobile phones. The games should be released sometime in late October or early November this year.

However, DualShockers journalist Tom Henderson claims on Twitter today that he has learned that the Remasters, which haven’t been officially announced yet, won’t be released until 2022. “Everything I’ve heard myself has already been reported (in reports) – the only difference being I don’t think the launch period is correct.” In a follow-up tweet, he stated that he expects a remodel sometime in 2022.

Henderson is known as one of the insiders who often leaked correct information beforehand. For example, previously leaked correct information about Battlefield 2042. But at the moment, Rockstar has not confirmed the existence of Transformers.

The mod for the three GTA games will be made in the Unreal Engine and will feature a “mix of new and old graphics”. A Kotaku source claims to have seen a reboot device working and states that it reminds him of GTA with mods.
