Samsung October 2021 update

few Samsung phones – from Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S20 FE 5G – Received the October update in recent days, however, it is not yet known exactly what the new security patch does. This is now changing thanks to new information released by Samsung and Google.

As you probably know, both companies are responsible for the content of security patches for Samsung Galaxy devices. Google releases improvements for the Android operating system itself. This month, there are 42. Six of them are rated critical – and all six are for devices with Qualcomm processors. In our country, these are the devices in the Galaxy Z series, but also various models in the A series, including Galaxy A52 employment Galaxy A52s.

Samsung’s own contribution to the October patch consists of 32 improvements to its software, drivers, and applications. It’s unusual for Samsung to explain almost all of them separately this time around. For example, we see 14 fixes for Exynos chipsets, and two for devices with MediaTek soc (Galaxy A22 employment Galaxy A32, for example). And also among Samsung’s improvements, there is another one dedicated to devices equipped with a Qualcomm chipset. The rest of the improvements focus on functions and individual parts that do not belong to a particular processor.
