Italian authorities found stockpiles at the factory in Anagne following a report from the European Commission, according to the newspaper. Today, it presents plans to limit the export of coronavirus vaccines if medicines are not delivered on time. Having a huge stockpile at an Italian plant is very sensitive in this light, as AstraZeneca offers less in the EU than what was agreed.

At the Catalent Inc. plant. Vaccines are packed in bottles. The commission, the owner of the factory and the Italian authorities did not confirm the report in La Stampa. If it turns out to be close to 30 million vaccines, that would be more than AstraZeneca has supplied to the EU so far.
