BBack to the future It is definitely one of the most iconic movies of the 80’s and the entire history of the movie. After all, who hasn’t watched Marty McFly travel back to the 1950s, meet his parents and take them back together? Marty did it all with the help of his friend Doc Brown’s DeLorean time machine, making the car also iconic. And one of those cars is now under the hammer.

The DeLorean DMC-12 is a private car. This car didn’t just appear in all three Back to the future –Movies, but the car is all private. The DMC-12 was designed by Giorgetto Guigiaro, but was taken over by Lotus Chief Colin Chapman. Although Chapman made production models of it, the DeLorean DMC-12 is actually still little more than a very limited release model. Only 9,000 copies were made.

The car’s design is still distinct. The DMC-12 features the doors and appearance of the seagull wings made of stainless steel, as it is the only vehicle that contains these elements. So whether you think the car is beautiful or ugly, it definitely stands out.
