The Spanish League becomes the official shirt sponsor of Clwb Pêl Droed Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyr-ndrobwllllantysiliogogoch FC | sports

The shirt of Clwb Pêl Droed Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch Football Club (abbreviation CPD Llanfairpwll FC) from Wales will now be emblazoned with the La Liga logo under the slogan: The two biggest names in world football unite.

The club will see its first match in the new kit on Saturday when Llanfairpool take on Holyhead Town FC in the North Wales West Coast Premier Division. The club’s record-bearing sponsorship partly stems from the fact that CPD Llanfairpwll FC will celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2024. For La Liga, it’s a rather interesting way to promote the brand.

“Within our new brand positioning, this collaboration is a great way to creatively bring our new ‘LL’ visual identity to life,” said Keegan Pearce, who represents La Liga’s interests in the UK and Ireland.

Top scorer Marquis Holland is now a fan of Spanish football. “With La Liga on our shirt, we get an extra boost. We are increasingly watching Spanish football with stars like Robert Lewandowski, Antoine Griezmann and Jody Bellingham.
