Spotify is one of the most used music streaming services in the world. The service has apps for mobile and a myriad of other platforms, including cars, as well as for your desktop. Whether you are using a PC or Mac, spotify It has a dedicated app for you. Often the differences are only in design which is why we have divided this workshop into two parts.
1. Your friends on Spotify
The great thing about the Spotify desktop app is that you can do a lot more with the friends you follow through the music streaming service. This makes it possible to share your listening activity and view your friends’ activities. This is only possible in the desktop application, because there is simply no place for it on your smartphone. Spotify has made its desktop app fully compatible with the mobile app in recent years, so there are quite a few differences. 2. For Windows users
If you are using a Windows PC, this is the step to follow. Open your Spotify desktop app. Click in the upper left corner three balls and choose tab to show them† In the menu that opens, you can disable your friends’ activity.
3. For Mac users
Open the Spotify app on your Mac. If you don’t already have it, you can download it from the Mac App Store or from the website. If the app is open, you’ll see your profile name at the top right. Click the arrow to the right of that and choose the button settings. Go here until you reach Show Come and switch the button Find out what your friends are listening to From.
4. Nice to know
Under Settings you will find the tab social encountered. Also here you can adjust a series of settings that may interest you.
