Three people were killed and others were injured, Friday, in a knife attack in downtown Würzburg, Germany. The culprit has been defeated.
It seems that a man randomly attacked people with a knife in the middle of the city. Pictures are circulating on social media where people try to restrain a man with a knife, among other things with chairs.
Three people died. Police said several people were also injured.
Police shot the attacker, but he is not in a life-threatening condition. Police said the suspect is a 24-year-old Somali who lives in the city. His motives are not yet clear.
