Three people injured by warning shots in new riots in Sweden

In fresh riots between protesters and police in the southern Swedish city of Norrköping, a man was shot in the leg on Sunday after police fired several warning shots. This was reported by the Swedish TV channel SVT on the basis of the police. Three people were injured, according to Agence France-Presse.

Thirteen people were arrested. The injured are also suspected of committing a crime. It is not known exactly how they got there.

For several days, protests continued in several Swedish cities against the arrival in Scandinavia of the notorious far-right activist Rasmus Paludan, known, among other things, for organizing the burning of the Koran. In November 2020, the man was actually arrested in France because he wanted to organize the burning of the Quran. Shortly thereafter, five Danes were denied entry to the Belgian territory of our country. They were considered allies of the Danish hate campaigner. According to Interior Minister Annelies Verlinden and Minister of State for Asylum and Migration Sami Mahdi, the men pose a serious danger to Belgian public order.
