Lift is scheduled to be released on January 12 and is undoubtedly the big movie on Netflix this month. This action comedy film is directed by F. Gary Gray follows an international gang of thieves who hope to pull off a massive heist by stealing more than half a billion in gold from an airliner during flight. In addition to Kevin Hart, the film also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ursula Corbero, Billy Magnussen, and Sam Worthington.
The Kitchen: British science fiction/drama
The Kitchen is a new film from the UK that will be released on Netflix on January 19. In a dystopian future London where all social housing has been eliminated, Izzy and Benji struggle to find their way in the world as residents of London. the kitchenA community that refuses to leave its home. The film, which stars Top Boy star Kane Robinson, explores some big themes and features impressive CGI graphics, though the story doesn’t seem to keep up with the big ideas it aims to explore.
Good Grief: A Comedy by Daniel Levy
Good Grief will be released on Netflix on January 5, and is the new comedy from Daniel Levy, known from the hit series Schitt’s Creek. The film follows an artist trying to cope with the loss of his famous writer wife and takes his two best friends on a trip to Paris where they share intense secrets and difficult truths.
