Top 4 Android Apps and Games of the Week (Version #26 2021)

Watch Netflix anytime and anywhere, survive as a frog in a chaotic world and an interesting alternative to WhatsApp. You can check it out and more in this weekly overview of the best Android apps, games, and updates.

Read on after the announcement.

1. Netflix

Netflix It didn’t release a huge but nice update last week. From now on, you can watch “only” movies and series offline, even if they are not completely downloaded. The idea behind this is that when you’re in a hurry, you don’t have to wait for your Netflix downloads to finish.

Even if you only download a few minutes of a movie or series, you can start watching. If you have a good internet connection again at a later time, your download (or downloads) will automatically resume.

2. Froglike: The Frog Roguelike

How long can you survive? This question is fundamental to Froglike: The Frog Roguelike. You take on the role of a frog who must try to survive as long as possible. You can do this by avoiding enemies and making tactical use of your environment. For example, jump from one lily pad to another to get over it.

If you have to describe a Froglike in one word, you quickly end up with “mess”. The game world is constantly changing, attacks come from all possible angles and you are always under time pressure. Fortunately, you can score all kinds of upgrades that make playing (a little bit) more comfortable.

3. Railroad Ink Challenge

Railroad Ink Challenge is a game for people who have always wanted to work on railroads. In the game, you are the boss of a railway company and you have to make as many connections between separate railways as possible. Be careful, because you get penalty points for “open endings”.

You can also earn reward points. You can get an extra high score by expanding the railway network as much as possible with tracks, highways and stations. At the beginning of each round you have to roll a digital dice and you will get some ‘cards’. These cards show your options for keeping the rail network on track.

4. Telegram

cable It released a very nice update last week. You can now make video calls with 29 other people. It is also possible to invite more people to the group, but they can then make “only” voice calls. In WhatsApp, you can of course make video calls with a group, but the limit is 8.

Also great: you can now share your screen while making video calls. This allows others to see what’s happening on your screen. Telegram now has hundreds of millions of users and with this update it is taking an important next step to become a chatting app.
