US President Donald Trump is in Davos to attend the World Economic Forum. He spoke there with British Prime Minister Theresa May, among others.
The relationship between Trump and May came under pressure after the US president declined an invitation to visit London to open the new US embassy.
Those wrinkles appear to have been ironed out at the World Economic Forum. “Great bilateral meeting with UK Prime Minister Theresa May, underscoring our special relationship and commitment to working together to address important national security challenges and economic opportunities,” Trump tweeted.
According to Reuters, Trump intends to visit Britain this year after the meeting.
