Tyson Fury criticized Anthony Joshua for not giving enough voice to their proposed super fight, which he says should “happen”.
Joshua retained his IPF, WPA and WPO titles against Kubrat Pule last Saturday, and later said of the WBC belt: “Whoever gets the belt, I want to compete with them. If it’s Tyson Fury, let it be Tyson Fury.”
The fight between Joshua and Puri, which holds every major title between them, 2021 is being discussed to determine the undeniable heavyweight champion.
“Next year, the fight should happen,” Fury said Jonathan Rose Show.
“He came as his final hurdle against Pule last week and now we are both free to do this fight. I am ready to fight.
“He was asked: ‘Do you want to fight Tyson Fury?’
“Very clear and simple, he never answered the question. It’s not a simple yes or no answer, is it?
“Then they said: ‘Do you think you’ve the best heavyweight in the world?’
He went on [holds hands up]. Did not answer the question. Ask me: ‘Do you want to fight Anthony Joshua?’
Fury insisted he was Section No. 1: “I, a mile away. There we go. How do you answer the question.”
“He’s now the integrated champion. I was in 2015 before my problems. I had to empty them all. So it will be the first undisputed champion since Lenox Lewis 20 years ago.”
Fury said in the ring about his future: “I’m a creature of habit. I did this from the womb, basically. I fought, the fists were ready. I will continue until there are no more challenges, no more challenges to fight.”
“When I defeated Joshua the next year, I won the best of the last and my own era. So there will always be someone else to fight with.”
Fury added about Joshua: “He was a great fighter, an Olympic gold medalist, a two-time heavyweight champion like me, he won everything, he was a great, great athlete. [I have respect for him]. “
Tyson Fury spoke to the Jonathan Rose Show, which airs on ITV at 9.25pm on Saturday.
What did AJ say about Fury?
Joshua said after tapping Pule: “I started this game in 2013. I’m throwing all the belts and I’m handling the compulsions.
“Of course I like the challenge. It’s not about the opponent, it’s about legacy and the belt. Whoever gets the belt, I want to compete with them. If it’s Tyson Fury, let it be Tyson Fury. It’s not a big deal.
“It’s one fight at a time, picking them one by one. It’s about me. I have to focus.”

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn added: “There’s a lot of talk, like he said, less talk, more action. Ever since he came to office, he has wanted to be the undisputed champion of the world.
“We ‘re going to be friendly, we’ re going to be fine. We know what to do [last Sunday], Let Tyson Fury fight straight.
“It’s the only fight that needs to be done in boxing. It’s the biggest fight in boxing. It’s the biggest fight in British boxing history.
“I know he [Joshua] Wants it. He is the best heavyweight in the world, I swear to you. He will break [Fury] Below, he would knock him out, but for me, less talk, more action.
“We know what we want to do. It’s about legacy. We’ll do it.”
Is AJ’s call enough?
Carl Froch of Sky Sports said: “Eddie Hearn said it, but Anthony Joshua didn’t say it, he refused to say it.
“Now I think he’s the only guy fighting Fury.
“It simply came to our notice then.
“It’s like ancient Rome in the Colosseum, when the crowd spoke. Fans who follow Joshua want to see Fury fight.
“He’s got Oleksandr Uzbek for WBO compulsion, that’s one way.
“There are still questions. Is Tyson Fury in his head, in his mind?”
“Eddie Hearn said there: ‘We’re on the phone tomorrow morning, we’ll do that fight.’
“Let’s see if that happens, but that’s the fight we have to watch now.”
