Zelensky visited Ukrainian soldiers being trained by the British Army. The British will also expand their training program for Ukrainian soldiers, and they will train pilots to use combat aircraft.

According to British Public Broadcasting, the Ukrainian president will also deliver a speech in parliament. “President Zelensky’s visit testifies to his country’s courage, determination, fighting spirit and the unbreakable friendship between our two countries,” Sunak said. Buckingham Palace announced that Zelenskiy would also be received by King Charles.

This is Zelensky’s second visit abroad since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine nearly a year ago. Zelensky already visited the United States in December, where he met US President Joe Biden, among others.

Zelensky was scheduled to come to Brussels on Thursday to attend a summit of EU heads of state and government, but that visit has not yet been officially confirmed.
