Given the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the course of the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, Withing Temptation and Evanescent have decided to move the long-awaited Worlds Collide Tour to spring 2022. It is currently unclear whether local authorities will actually be able to ensure September is a safe environment for European audiences to enjoy live shows, so the move was inevitable.

Temptation’s Sharon den Adel: “This is not what we wanted at all, but the reality is no different: We have to postpone the Worlds Collide Tour again. Although we can’t make the current situation any better, we hope to put a big smile on your faces soon. We certainly haven’t been idle in the meantime and there are a lot of great things to come. And you know what they say, right? Three times a charm. So see you in April 2022!”

Despite tour postponements, Inside Temptation continues to produce new music. During the lockdown, the band released two singles: “Entertain You” and “The Purge”. Both songs exceeded all expectations, reaching the top 20 on the Billboard Rock Chart in America as well as global radio airplay. Additionally, the band has re-released their catalog on all digital streaming platforms, including previously unreleased B-sides, demos and live recordings.

Evancens released four singles during the lockdown and new album ‘The Bitter Truth’, which reached No. 1 on iTunes in 22 countries, No. 2 in Germany and No. 4 in the UK. They will soon be releasing a special graphic anthology series “Echoes From The Void” in collaboration with Heavy Metal Entertainment, inspired by songs from “The Bitter Truth”.
