Maxima in a beautiful dress

Catherine, Princess of Wales, honored a royal tradition with her dress on Saturday. “She’s wearing a long, white gown, as was customary at Queen Elizabeth’s coronation,” says Drogendijk. “Instead of a diadem, Catherine wears a silver hair ornament, which from a distance looks like a diadem. This is how she changes traditions with small steps.” Princess dress designed by designer Alexander McQueen. “On the dress, the national flowers of four countries of the United Kingdom are embroidered with embroidery.”
The dress code is unknown
The dress code was not known until the guests arrived at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, says Drogendijk. “Before, noble ladies used to wear a long dress with a diadem at coronations, but this one seems to be elegant. Ladies now wear a plain dress with a hat. Although these are still some of the most elegant dresses you can imagine for a day like this.”
