WhatsApp makes it easy to transfer your conversations to another device or to another mobile phone number. Evidence for this has now emerged. This post is useful.
WhatsApp allows you to migrate conversations more easily
Transferring chat conversations in WhatsApp always remains important. Especially if you, like us, regularly switch phones to work on DroidApp. You can do this with a Google Drive backup, but that’s not as fast, for example, with Telegram, where you have everything close at hand as soon as you log in. This is much slower with WhatsApp. In addition, a new smartphone with a different operating system can cause problems (such as Android-iOS) and the same is true for the new phone number.
Now changing the phone number is fairly easy, but only if you do it on the same device. WhatsApp has been working for a long time on a new function with which it is possible to exchange conversations between iOS and Android. WAbetainfo has now reported that with the new version, it is not only possible to divert calls between OS, but also the phone number can be changed at the same time.
At the moment, the feature is not yet available, and it is not known when that will happen. If you really want to change your number in WhatsApp, you can do so via Settings> Account> Change Number.
