Norway will receive 593,190 doses of Pfizer’s coronary artery vaccine in the second quarter than initially thought. There will also be several hundred thousand additional doses in July.

Norway will receive a total of 2,917,980 doses of the Pfizer and Biontech vaccine in April, May and June, says Knut Junsrod, head of the vaccine supply division at the National Institute of Public Health. Dagbladet

At Week 17, Norway will receive its first delivery with 59,670 additional doses – a total of 207,090 doses. Then there are 248,040 additional doses in May – a total of 1,050,660 doses, then another 285,480 doses in June – a total of 1,220,310 doses.

It was announced on Wednesday that the European Union will receive 50 million doses of the Pfizer / Biontech vaccine by summer. It should have been delivered in the fourth quarter, but deliveries are gathering momentum. Swedish vaccination coordinator Richard Bergstrom reported VG Norway receives about 550,000 of these doses. So the number is a little higher.
