Bridgestone Mobility Solutions launched Bridgestone Road Terms, a technology to provide insights based on aggregated, anonymized data from Webfleet-connected vehicles. Initially, customers will have access to two solutions that show the location and extent of damage to roads and visualize different routes. The Road Damage Detection solution identifies road violations using anonymized data collected from connected vehicles equipped with Webfleet fleet management solutions. Using an artificial intelligence algorithm, the extent of damage to the road can be determined, helping drivers and fleet managers reduce the risk of accidents and prevent damage to tires and vehicles. Cities and road authorities can also use these insights to improve preventive maintenance and infrastructure planning.

In addition, the road asset visualization solution provides road and infrastructure information by analyzing data from multiple sensors and cameras attached to the vehicle.
