Apple unveiled its new iPhone models on Tuesday night. iPhone 13 has a better screen, bigger battery, faster processor, and better cameras than its predecessor. The tech company did so during a virtual presentation where the latest versions of the Apple Watch and iPad (mini) were also revealed.
The iPhone 13 looks pretty much the same as the 12. The difference is that the so-called notch, which is the bulge in the screen where the sensors for facial recognition, among other things, have become narrower. Just like last year, the device comes in four versions and three different sizes. The two more expensive Pro models have better cameras and a screen that can be refreshed more often, making moving images smoother.
Bigger watch screen
The Apple Watch Series 7 was an even bigger surprise. The new smartwatch was rumored to be similar to the latest iPhones and iPads in design, but that turned out not to be the case. What was true was that the screen was larger, without the outside of the watch growing much.
The entry-level iPad also received an upgrade with a faster processor and a better front camera. The iPad mini, Apple’s smallest model of tablet, has been redesigned and now resembles the iPad Air and iPad Pro, among others. This model also got a better screen, faster processor and better cameras.
