Google has released a new version of the Chrome browser. In Chrome 95 we see a lot of new features, including the materials you design.

The Android Chrome browser is getting the new material it designs, which we see in Chrome 95. The pill-shaped search bar is the biggest change. And of course, the wallpaper colors in Android 12 have also taken over thanks to the Material Theme. Earlier you could already activate the Material Theme, and this had to be done with the known “flags”.

Another new feature is that you can scroll through screenshots. We already know this functionality from various brands, and it is also part of Android 12. The functionality is also present in Chrome 95. When you take a screenshot, you can click on Record More. This way you can set the frame by yourself to take the photo. You must activate the function yourself. To do this, go to chrome://flags and search for scroll capture.
for desktop
In Chrome 95 for the desktop, you can now choose to add tabs to a new group. In this case, you can save a whole set of tabs and quickly access them later.
The new eye dropper tool can provide information about the colors used on a web page. Until now this was only possible by downloading an optional extension. You can also set specific files/links to be opened with a specific app. Think of a PDF or text document that can be opened automatically with your chosen application. Finally, online stores can add support for a certain payment authentication method. This can be done, for example, via your fingerprint.
Chrome 95 is rolling out slowly. It may take some time for the new version to be introduced to everyone.
