In version 1.16.2 we only see a release note about troubleshooting in the Netherlands, but Control Anywhere is already being tested in Belgium and the UK, for example. The release notes say that the app automatically switches between Wi-Fi and your mobile network. In the case of IKEA, running outdoors is especially useful if you leave the lights on, for example, or if you prefer to lower your roller blinds on a hot day. IKEA does not sell smart thermostats or garden sprinklers, when in fact they are ideal for remote control.
