F1 22 update eliminates a bunch of bugs

F1 22 came into our lives earlier this month and Codemasters once again delivered a great racing game. However, the game is not free from bugs and bugs, so a new update – patch 1.05 – has been released to address these flaws.

general

  • The ICE wear rate has been reduced to be less punishing when shifting aggressively to a lower gear or increasing the rev.
  • Jeddah Incorrect collision resolved turn 1.
  • The default rearview mirror view setting will now be applied correctly.
  • The characters will now appear on the platform correctly.
  • HUD items will now appear correctly in split screen races.
  • Fixed an issue where a damaged team badge could appear after a race weekend in MyTeam.
  • Loyalty pack items will now appear correctly in users’ inventory.
  • Fixed an issue where using the Fanatec Load Cell pedals would reduce frame rate.
  • Updated durability ratings of MyTeam engine suppliers (will not affect existing functionality).
  • Updated fuel quantity for Bahrain F1 enemy events.
  • Rain no longer appears inside the car in this supercar remake.
  • Resolved issue where a race engineer would have noticed a problem with a component and then immediately stated that it had been resolved.
  • Adaptive triggers now have the correct impedance on a PC.
  • Fixed an issue where AI drivers on flying laps could apply the brakes to not overtake losing vehicles.
  • Fixed issue when retiring from qualifiers 1 or 2 although there was time to move to the next session, go to the race.
  • Fixed an issue that could occur when joining the Social Play Lobby in progress.
  • Sponsors can now be properly applied to Player Car.
  • General stability improvements.
  • Various minor fixes.

Connected

  • A crash when entering a multiplayer lobby in progress has been addressed.
  • Fixed an issue where the starting grid option could not be modified in multiplayer lobbies.

VR

  • Performance is improved when the companion screen is set to full screen.
  • Addressing involuntary head movement when braking or accelerating.

Notes

A firmware update was recently released by Thrustmaster which we believe will resolve a number of issues with those F1 peripherals. 22. We recommend that you install this update if you are currently experiencing problems.
