First in Belgium: Lab Europe hospitals obtain the “Green Laboratory” certificate

The Analytical Laboratory of Europe Hospitals has obtained the “Green and Sustainable Laboratory” certification. This certification is administered by the European Federation of Medical Laboratories (EFLM) in accordance with the European Green Deal.

European Hospitals proudly announces that this is the first of its kind in Belgium and that its laboratory is the second in Europe to obtain this certification*. As a partner in healthcare, Europe Hospitals Analytics Laboratory recognizes the importance of reducing its environmental footprint while ensuring high-quality services.

Environmentally friendly practicesThe laboratory has adopted protocols and technologies that reduce energy consumption, use of chemicals, and waste production. In this way, each analysis contributes to preserving biodiversity and reducing environmental damage.
