While Forza Horizon 5 Keep posting records high speedPlayground Games’ latest release, since release, can also be based on another major asset: ray tracing which is offered entirely across all game modes on PC.

Those who already have the game on Xbox Series X already know that ray acceleration is only enabled in Forza Vista and Garage modes. There are no limitations on PC thanks to popular mods that let you take advantage of ray tracing in the middle of the race.

In order to better appreciate the benefits of this technology, Digital Foundry has published a new video where we can see the various performance tests that have been done. Without missing a beat, the video highlights the benefits of ray tracing via portrait mode, with lighting effects providing a visual display to say the least.
