Debate Band

Although The Tea Pad is based in Newcastle, members come from all over the UK. The band continues to add new flavors to their sound. Heron is particularly obsessed with vinyl; Always a new interest, calypso, boogaloo or whatever is exciting. He is particularly interested in obscure blues and country 45s and eclecticism. The search for new sounds is always incorporated in their songs.

The band has already released four albums, including their sparkling new creation: The parties are over (end of 2022). With this album, the band takes their signature music to new heights. After ten years of dedicated craftsmanship, this might just be their best album to date!

From legendary venues such as Glastonbury and Cambridge Folk Festival to intimate performances in village halls and barns and everywhere in between. The band allows the audience to be transported through rousing rhythms, compelling melodies and passion that resonates in every song.
