Linklaters employs 41 partners and 53 consultants worldwide

Around 100 new partners and consultancies will start on 1 May and will be located across the UK, Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Among them is a Dutch appointment.

There are a total of 17 new female partners compared to 24 male partners. Most partner appointments were made in the United Kingdom; Not less than sixteen out of 41. One of the appointments will be held in the Netherlands. This is about Marleen Wessel (photo above). He has been appointed as a partner in the Amsterdam office.

The company’s goal was for at least 40 percent of appointments worldwide to go to women, and to appoint 15 percent fewer ethnic minorities within the shareholder group. These targets were met with a large number of appointments from May 1.

In addition, there have been two further promotions to partner in Zhao Sheng, Linklaters’ office in China. Both these appointments are effective from May 1.
