Pokemon Open World announced for 2022

Pokémon fans have dreamed of a game in which they can explore the game world on their own and capture Pokemon to their heart’s content. Open World Pokémon looks like the best experience, but it has yet to be released. This appears to be changing now. Yesterday, during a special live broadcast celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise, the Pokémon Company announced Pokémon Legends: Arceus, an all-new role-playing game with open-world elements!

We are intentionally writing open world elements because neither Nintendo nor Pokémon themselves have assured that it is actually an open world game. Although the first gameplay photos indicate this.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, trainers are transported to a bygone era in the Sinnoh region to create the region’s first Pokédex. To catch Pokémon in the wild, trainers will need to study them, sneak up on them, and then throw Pokémon Balls to compete with their favorite Pokémon partner: Grass Pokémon Rowlett, Fire Pokémon Cyndaquil, or Water Pokémon Oshawott.

Moreover, a Pokemon named Arceus will play a major role in the game. This mysterious Pokemon is said to have shaped everything in the world. How this mighty Pokemon (which weighs at least 320 kg!) Relates so perfectly to your adventure, you’ll have to find out for yourself from next year when Pokémon Legends comes out of the Nintendo Switch.

Pokémon also announced during the live broadcast Remakes From Pokémon games Diamond and Pearl. Both games originally appeared for the Nintendo DS in 2007 but will be released on the Nintendo Switch later this year.
