Slicker premieres its first movie in Belfast | From home to home

Leewarden Belfast, a drama film directed by Kenneth Brana (UK, 2021), will soon appear on Slieker.

Kenneth Brana drew inspiration from his childhood and made a warm movie in which drama, comedy and everyday scenes alternate constantly. The film was nominated for seven Oscars.

a story

Ten year old Paddy has a carefree childhood in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1969. She is social with his loving parents, older brother and grandparents who live with the family. A friend plays on the street a lot, adores a girl and gets involved in mischief. But then riots broke out and the big question on the Buddy family’s mind was whether it would be wise to leave their beloved Belfast?

The film lasts 98 minutes and can be watched at the following times: Thursday, February 24 at 3:00 pm and 8:15 pm; Friday, February 25 at 3.30pm and 7.15pm; Saturday, February 26 at 3:15 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.; Sunday, February 27 at 10:45 a.m., 2:50 p.m., and 8:00 p.m.; Monday, February 28 at 8 p.m.; Tuesday March 1 at 3 and 8.15 pm and Wednesday March 2 at 8.15 pm.
