The first episode of the third season the crown, Which is about the life of British Queen Elizabeth, will be watched for free in the UK. Netflix hopes this will attract a larger audience to the drama series.

This season, Claire Foy no longer plays Queen Elizabeth, but rather Olivia Coleman. Prince Philip, Esquire Snowdon and Princess Margaret are played by Tobias Menzies, Ben Daniels and Helena Bonham Carter respectively. Josh O’Connor plays Prince Charles.
