The Matrix is getting a sequel, but it’s different than you think

In recent years, The Matrix of 1999 has managed to count on an unwanted sequel to The Matrix: Resurrections, according to some, but director Danny Boyle goes one step further. He’s now working on a special adaptation of the popular sci-fi movie: Dance Show!

Warner Bros. He has already given the green light to this separate project, called “Free Your Mind”. The first edition of the exhibition is expected to arrive in the UK in October 2023.

The log line reads: “Free Your Mind” combines the choreography of hundreds of hip-hop dancers with an all-new immersive design to take the audience on an exciting journey through “The Matrix”, into a new world of countless possibilities.”

Danny Boyle’s latest trick
The famous director often burned his fingers on unusual projects. The former Slumdog Millionaire manager took part in the opening of the UK Olympic Games in 2012. One of the celebrities he had to mentor was then King Elizabeth.

Hopefully, he’ll be able to live up to the classic movie and find a new form to wake his audience up from The Matrix.
