Luxury watches are usually made of gold and diamonds, but now there's a million-euro wristwatch that comes from a different raw material: an asteroid. This may be an expensive gadget, but it is in no way similar to a regular Rolex watch. More about Rolex Fred Flintstone.
The watch is made by Greco-Genève and is called the Asteroid Watch. It was made from an asteroid from the asteroid belt that crashed in Argentina. The brand says that since a man walked on the moon in 1969, it has “realized that he has the ability to flirt with the extraordinary.”
Asteroid observation
It is certainly an unusual watch with its chunky appearance: a piece of the asteroid has been removed in its original state. “An asteroid is a celestial body that tells us time on Earth. This is not a global debut, but a galactic debut.” He watches.
The white gold back of this watch has some hieroglyphs engraved on it: This is not a message from extraterrestrial life. It's a reference by the filmmakers to the movie Predator (about commandos being hunted in the jungle by an alien). The watch also features a fluorescent coating that comes to life when placed under UV light. We are particularly interested in how much this piece of stone weighs, but this is not yet known. In an asteroid, you can usually find all kinds of metals as well as stone, which means they're usually not very light.
